  • Reclaim MLK's Radical Legacy Caravan

    Monday, January 17, 2022 at 10:30 AM · 3 rsvps
Meet at West Oakland BART Parking Lot in Oakland, CA

8th Annual Day of Action to Reclaim MLK’s Radical Legacy + Drive-Thru Giveaway!

For the 8th consecutive year the Anti Police-Terror Project calls the Bay Area into the streets of Oakland to Reclaim MLK’s Radical Legacy! Join Pamela Price and her team of volunteers for a car caravan and mourn the lives we’ve lost to violence in the streets and at the hands of the police. In the radical spirit of Dr. King, we demand “an all-out war against poverty” and an end to violence through healing — not a war on people, not more police. We will combine struggles and heal together as a united community. One Struggle. One Fight. One People.

We'll meet at the West Oakland BART station parking lot at 10:30am to prepare. Then we'll head over to the main caravan gathering point about 11am. We'll gather signatures to get Pamela on the ballot and hand out flyers until the caravan departs at 12:30pm.

Masks are required if you leave your vehicle at any time.
