Re-Elect Pamela Price

Pamela Price has spent decades working in the justice system and our neighborhoods. She believes in a balanced approach: protecting public safety while reforming unfair systems that harm marginalized communities.

A trailblazing civil rights attorney and political activist, Pamela served as the first Black female District Attorney in the history of Alameda County. She survived the Ohio foster care and juvenile justice systems to graduate from Yale College and U.C. Berkeley School of Law. She has spent her entire legal career fighting for justice on behalf of women, workers, low-income people, and communities of color, even arguing successfully before the United States Supreme Court.

In 2022, Pamela shattered historic barriers once again, becoming the first Black woman—and the first person elected without appointment since 1938—to serve as Alameda County District Attorney. Her election marked a new era for a community demanding fairness, transparency, and real accountability from its justice system. She was recalled in the disastrous 2024 election cycle which swept Donald Trump into power.

As District Attorney, Pamela championed innovative reforms centered on victims' needs, restorative justice, and healing the deep wounds caused by systemic inequities. Her leadership redefined what it means to serve as a prosecutor—not merely to punish, but to repair, to protect, and to uphold the promise of true justice. Justice must be served, and it must be served the right way, without fear, favoritism, or hesitation. Justice you can trust.
