Oakland, CA — My heart goes out to the families and loved ones of Latetia Bobo, a beloved teacher and artist, and Markise Martin, a young father, whose lives were tragically taken in the mass shooting at EZ’s Lounge in downtown Oakland. I also extend my condolences to the persons who were shot during this incident and to our community, especially the young people whose lives have been shaken by this act of violence.
